Rod Urand's journey spans from a promising banking career in Australia to his current roles in event entertainment and academia in Maryland. Starting as an Assistant Director at a YMCA camp in Pennsylvania, he honed his customer service skills before transitioning to executive roles in property management. His entrepreneurial drive led him to found Yackendander Training and Consulting, focusing on motivational speaking, technology, and customer service training. As co-owner of MUSG Productions, he's deeply involved in event entertainment. Rod's academic career began in 2009 and continues today with the University of Maryland, Baltimore, balancing his passion for technology, teaching and entertaining.
